Our research focuses on the role of T helper (TH) cells in inflammatory and malignant skin disease. In particular, we are interested in skin-resident TH2 cells and the function of interleukin-9-producing "TH9" cells. More recently, we have also focused on the investigation of the transcription factor PPAR-γ in human "pathogenic" TH2 cells.
